Recently, brands have taken guests to particularly far-flung locations for their resort shows. On Tuesday, Karl Lagerfeld invited 700 guests to Havana, at a historic moment in U.S./Cuba relations. He staged the Chanel 2017 resort show — called “Coco Cuba” — in the city’s newly renovated, tree-lined Paseo del Prado.
